Childhood and adolescence can be filled with beauty and excitement and can have challenging and messy times, too! Mandy has helped children, adolescents and their families navigate these life stages for over fifteen years through authentic relationship-focused strategies. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health (LPCMH) and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) passionate about helping youth and their families. Mandy believes strongly in the power of connection, nature, and play, and she uses a variety of evidence-based and holistic approaches to help guide her clients through a journey of healing, understanding and compassion.

 

Some of the techniques Mandy utilizes are from her trainings in Attachment-Based Family Therapy (ABFT), Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). She also borrows from strength-based and body-based modalities. Mandy has worked in a variety of environments, including schools, homes, and community-based settings, and she has experience with a wide range of counseling issues. Mandy believes all behavior makes sense based on inner and outer experiences, and she is eager to help her clients and their families process through a different lens.
